What is inRent?
inRent is a rental finance plan that lets you have the latest electrical appliance or furniture item now without the big cash outlay and with no deposit. That’s right – you can rent it today and keep your cash to use on something else!
What can I inRent?
As long as the minimum value of rented goods is $250, you can rent a wide range of electrical appliances, office equipment and furniture. Some of the items you can inRent include:
• Notebook & Tablet Computers
• Desktop Computers
• Printers & Scanners
• Digital Cameras
• Smart Plasma, LCD & LED TVs
• Home Theatre Systems
• DVD/Blu-ray Players & Recorders
You can also include items such as customer care plan and audio visual/computer accessories up to 30% of the value of your inRent agreement.
Do I need additional cover?
You can add inRent’s Debt Waiver cover to your agreement for a small amount extra per week. If your rented goods are stolen or destroyed in a fire inRent will waive your debt leaving you free to choose new items and begin a new agreement^. Keep in mind that many Home & Contents Insurance policies don’t cover rented goods so ensure your rented goods are protected by adding Debt Waiver to your agreement when applying.
What are the fees?
There are NO application fees and NO ongoing account keeping fees. All you need is your first month’s payment.

Who can inRent?
Anyone over the age of 18 can apply to inRent. inRent caters for consumers from all walks of life, has no minimum income qualification and welcomes permanent visa holders and Australian residents alike.
How do I apply to inRent?
inRent applications are completed in store at your local inRent retailer. You will need a valid form of identification (e.g. driver’s licence with current address) and proof of income when applying.
Can I apply from home?
How long is an inRent agreement?
inRent recommend a 42 month term for maximum flexibility. You can also choose from 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 year terms on most items.
How can I pay my account?
Your first monthly payment is due upon application approval and can be paid by credit card, BPay, money order or cheque. All future payments are required to be made by direct debit from your bank account; you can choose fortnightly (half payments) or monthly debits to suit your needs. A quarterly statement is also sent to you ensuring you can keep up to date with your account.
How soon can I upgrade?
When you take out a 42 month agreement with inRent you can upgrade in as little as 18 months without penalty.* Simply enter into a new agreement for the latest technology, return the old goods to inRent and your remaining payments are waived. You will never be stuck with old technology again!
What if I want to keep the goods I’m renting?
inRent allows you to apply to buy the goods you are renting at any time.† If your offer represents fair market value at that time then inRent will always consider it. Simply call the inRent customer assistance centre on 1800 199 285 to apply to buy at any time!†
Can I add items to my agreement?*
You can add additional items to your inRent agreement at any time. Simply head into your local inRent retailer or contact inRent to arrange.
What happens at the end of the rental term?
At the end of the rental term you may:
· Continue to rent
· Return the product with no further obligation
· Apply to Buy
